HydroSil-ULTRA Hydrogen Peroxide Water Sanitiser

When rainwater comes into contact with contaminated surfaces; such as guttering, rooftops and down pipes, it picks up harmful material such as bacteria, animal & bird droppings.  This bacteria is carried through the water and into the water storage device or storage tank. The bacteria can then colonise in the stagnant water and results in harmful illnesses when consumed - such as E.coli.

HydraSil is a hydrogen peroxide, based with a silver activated sanitiser, which acts to oxidise bacteria, without leaving any dangerous residues behind.  HydraSil sanitises and protects your tanks and water storage devices, making the water safe and suitable for human consumption.  HydraSil is not a chlorine based chemical like most sterilisers on the market today. It is non toxic, and safe to use around your home and family.

Perfect for controlling insect larvae (such as mosquito), and preventing breeding and colonising. Due to recent weather patterns and drought conditions, most home owners nationwide have been encouraged to install rain water tanks. As we know, mosquitoes thrive in warm moist conditions, and their ideal breeding location is stagnant, dark water chambers - i.e Rain Water Tanks.  As mentioned above, HydraSil acts to control larvae, preventing outbreaks. This is imperative in a country such as Australia, where the risk of dengue fever and other mosquito born diseases is always of high risk.

The introduction of HydraSil into wells or mains water can best be accomplished by a metering device which keeps the application more constant and thorough, although manual application can be used.  Dosing can be accomplished by the use of a proportional feeder.

In order to get a true reading of the amount of oxygen contained in the water after application, use peroxide test strips designed especially for this purpose.

Dosage:

For the initial treatment 200mL is required per 1000L of water, then 10mL per 1000L is recommended as an ongoing maintenance program.
