Filter Stages

1. Fine Steel Mesh

Reduces dust and bigger particulate and provides structural support for the filter.

2. Polypropylene Cotton

High Surface area to reduce finer sediment, turbidity, micro-organisms and rust.

3. Magnetic Energy Ball

These natural stones charge the water in order to help drain toxins from the body, lessen inflammation and boost the immune system.

4. Maifan Stone

Improve the biological activity of water with dissolved oxygen concentration. Maifan Stone has a strong adsorption ability to heavy metal ions and toxins in the water, it can reduce the concentrations of bacteria and inhibit its reproduction speed. This helps reduce mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic and other heavy metals and chlorinated, and other harmful substances to purify water.

5. Mineral Ceramic

Made from mineral compounds that soften water. Helps further absorb heavy metals and reduces odours.

6. Calcium Sulphite

Calcium Sulphite has a strong de-chlorination ability that works even at hot water temperatures with extremely fast effectiveness. It is also able to absorb heavy metals.

7. Alkaline Ceramic

Made from mineral compounds that soften water. Helps further absorb heavy metals and reduces odours.

8. Ceramic Balls

FAR Infrared emitting stones

9. KDF-55

Uses a combination of Copper and Zinc to create a redox reaction. This process reduces chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, heavy metals and iron. It also helps inhibit the growth of algae, fungi and bacteria.

10. Activated Coconut Carbon

Activated Carbon is a common material used for water and air filtration. It is effective at removing chlorine, removing taste & Odours from water. It is also used to absorb organic matter from water.

11. Polypropylene Cotton

High Surface area to reduce finer sediment, turbidity, micro-organisms and rust.

12. Fine Steel Mesh

Reduces dust and bigger particulate and provides structural support for the filter.

KDF-55 Filtration

KDF media (or Kinetic Degradation Fluxion Media), is a chemical compound used in water filtration applications. KDF is often used alongside activated carbon to maximise the efficiency of the filter. Generally, KDF is used in a purification system as a pre-filter, before another, finer stage of filtration, for example, reverse osmosis, de-ionisation and ion exchange systems.

KDF is regarded as being one of the newer developments in water treatment and filtration, since its development in 1984, it has grown to be widely regarded as one of the best filtration media available.

Water passes through a bed of pure KDF or an Activated carbon/KDF mix. As the water makes contact with the KDF particles the Redox reaction takes place, removing such impurities as minerals, metals, dissolved oxygen and organic materials. The KDF itself creates a miniature electrolytic cell within the spaces between each particle, the zinc acting as the anode and the copper acting as the cathode within this cell, and the water and its impurities acting as the electrolyte through which the charge flows. When the contaminants and impurities found in water pass through this electrolytic cell, some substances, especially metals, react to the magnetic force exerted by the electrolytic cell and are attracted to the surface of the KDF particles, where they adhere.  Other non-metal impurities react with the KDF and form zinc oxides, copper hydroxides, hydroxides, and sulphates in the water. These by-products remain within the drinking water but are not dangerous, also as part of this reaction, ozone is created and carried through into the drinking water, forming a hostile and desolate environment for algae, bacteria and any other array of micro-organisms.

Replacement Filters

Cartridges can last 2-6 months depending on water quality and usage volume. To replace your cartridge simply turn off your mains water supply and unscrew the shower hose from the filter. Take off the outer casing pull out the old cartridge and put in the new one. Then screw the casing back on and screw the shower hose back onto the filter.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of the products we sell, a strict return policy is in place. We work with food grade certified materials that must be un-opened and un-used as to be able to be re-sold.

  • 30 Day return Policy: Returns will not be accepted without prior approval or after 30 days of invoice date.
  • All returns will incur a 17.5% restocking fee or cost to send the item to you whichever greater. FSA may use discretion to determine the restocking fee.
  • Any damages (minor, that can be repaired) will incur a fee which will be deducted from the total refund which will be equal to the cost of the replacement
parts (List Price) and labour charge (if applicable) to repair the system(s). This will be separate to the restocking fee.
  • Any damage considered to be major and not feasible for repair may be refused and the return request will be void. The customer will be responsible for the return freight or disposal of the damaged unit.
  • Return shipping is to be paid by the buyer to the address provided. It is recommended that the customer applies transit warranty to the return freight in case of damage.
  • Any damages to the system that were not reported to FSA within 48 business hours of receipted delivery are not covered under our transit warranty.

  • Should the item appear faulty or doesn’t work how described, the unit/item must be returned for testing (if requested), the return postage paid by the buyer.
