Triple pH Neutral + 0.1 Micron Ultra Fine Cyst Parasite + Bacteria Reduction Undersink Water Filter
This Undersink Water Filter System is purpose-built for homes using rainwater or untreated tank water, combining fine particle and bacterial protection with a final stage that helps neutralise acidic pH often present in stored water.
Featuring three standard 10" x 2.5" filters in a compact bracket-mounted housing, the system also includes a fourth inline remineralising filter, installed above the bracket, which uses calcite and granular activated carbon (GAC) to elevate and stabilise the pH after filtration. This ensures more balanced, palatable water at the tap.
Each filtration stage plays a distinct role in reducing sediment, bacteria, taste and odour, while the inline cartridge helps prevent the mildly corrosive characteristics sometimes found in low-mineral water — especially important for older pipework or metal fittings.
Assembled using WaterMark Certified housings and supplied with all plumbing components required for a licensed install, this system offers a smart, high-quality solution for households looking for peace of mind when relying on harvested water.
Filter 1: 5 Micron Polyspun Sediment Filter
The first stage is a depth-melted polyspun filter designed to trap larger sediment, rust and debris. It helps prevent clogging and fouling of downstream filters while maintaining good system flow.
Filter 2: 0.1 Micron Multi-Layer Bacteria Filter
This advanced absolute-rated filter incorporates pleated outer layers, a carbon block core, and a hollow fibre membrane rated to 0.1 micron. Independently tested to ASTM F838-15, it provides Log8 (99.999999%) reduction of E. coli and P. aeruginosa — ideal for untreated tank water. It is compliant to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 (Cyst), FDA and EU food-grade standards.
Filter 3: 5 Micron Silver-Impregnated Carbon Block (HPF)
The third stage is a 5 micron coconut carbon block enhanced with silver. It adsorbs organic odours and taste compounds, improving the flavour of stored rainwater. The silver helps discourage microbial growth inside the filter, which can otherwise occur in low-chlorine environments.
Inline Remineralising Filter: Calcite + GAC
The final stage is an inline cartridge that combines calcite media with granular activated carbon. As water passes through, calcite slowly dissolves to elevate and stabilise the pH, counteracting the natural acidity of rainwater and improving its palatability and compatibility with plumbing.
This is particularly useful in areas where rainwater has a pH below 6.5 — helping to reduce corrosion risk and scale the water closer to neutral, without excessive alkalinity or added chemicals. The GAC also provides a final polish, reducing any residual taste or odour from the tank or plumbing system.
