Chloramine & Chlorine Reduction Twin Undersink Water Filter System (GT1-46WM)

This Twin Undersink Water Filter System is purpose-built to provide maximum reduction of chlorine, chloramine, and related chemical byproducts commonly found in Australian mains water supplies. Featuring dual carbon filters selected for performance and flow balance, it delivers high-grade filtration with minimal impact on pressure — making it ideal for households that want chemical protection without the cost or bulk of an RO system.

The system includes a 20 micron low pressure drop carbon block filter, followed by a 0.5 micron catalytic coconut carbon cartridge, both manufactured by High Performance Filtration (HPF). Together, they work to reduce disinfectants and improve taste, odour, and chemical safety at the tap.

Compact and professionally assembled, the system is designed for easy installation under any kitchen sink. All components are WaterMark compliant and suited for licensed plumber installation, offering long-term reliability and consistently clean, great-tasting water.

Filter 1: Low Pressure Drop Carbon Block – 20 Micron LPD2510-20 (GT4-6LPD)

This specially formulated 20µm carbon block provides an ideal balance of surface area and flow, acting as a coarse carbon pre-filter for chemical reduction without restricting pressure. It captures larger organic compounds, chlorine, and odour while protecting the finer catalytic carbon filter that follows.

Its structure allows for high flow rates and excellent longevity in mains water systems — particularly where pressure is a concern or multiple outlets are fed from the same line.

Filter 2: Catalytic Coconut Carbon Block – 0.5 Micron CRC2510-P5 (GT4-6CRC)

The second stage features a 0.5 micron catalytic carbon block, designed to remove more stubborn disinfectants like chloramine — a compound increasingly used in municipal water supplies due to its stability and resistance to standard filtration.

Made from activated catalytic coconut shell carbon, this filter is engineered for high adsorption of chloramine, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It also improves taste and odour while maintaining structure and flow integrity under standard domestic pressure.

WaterMark Certification

This system is WaterMark Certified to AS 3497:2021 under Certificate Number 23247, meeting the legal requirements for installation by licensed plumbers in Australia.

WaterMark certification ensures that every component meets strict Australian plumbing standards, covering pressure, structural integrity, and material safety. Each system is assembled in Australia and batch-tested for ongoing reliability and performance. Both cartridges are manufactured from materials compliant with NSF/ANSI 42.

⚠️ Uncertified systems may pose health risks and risk invalidating insurance coverage under Australian plumbing regulations.

Installation Note:
Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber. Detailed instructions are included for a straightforward install.
